Ham, Broccoli & Brie Quiche

Quiche is one of the easiest meals to make, and a good way to use up leftovers in your fridge. you can use any combinations from ham, smoked salmon, prosciutto, asparagus, spinach, and any type of cheese you may enjoy. As long as you have a good base egg mixture, it can go a LONG way. This is one of my favorite combinations, and you can really play with the herbs depending on the main ingredients.
INGREDIENTS
1 frozen pie crust
1 ½ cups cooked ham, cubed
½ cup onion, chopped
½ cup broccoli, cooked and cut into small florets
5 eggs
½ cup milk
½ cup cream
¼ fresh Sage, chopped
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon Vanilla
½ teaspoon pepper
½ small Brie wheel, cubed
1 ½ cups cooked ham, cubed
½ cup onion, chopped
½ cup broccoli, cooked and cut into small florets
5 eggs
½ cup milk
½ cup cream
¼ fresh Sage, chopped
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon Vanilla
½ teaspoon pepper
½ small Brie wheel, cubed
DIRECTIONS
Pre-heat the oven to 450°f. Prepare pie crust as directed on box. (I usually poke holes on the bottom of the crust to prevent the crust to rise) Sprinkle the onions, ham and then the broccoli in the pie crust.
Beat the eggs, milk, cream, vanilla, salt, pepper and sage together, until well blended. Ladle the egg mixture on top of the onions, ham and broccoli until it fills the pie crust, just under the rim. (Using a ladle will prevent from over pouring and spillage)
Gently place the brie on the top of the quiche. Bake for 35-45 minutes, until the egg mixture isn’t runny. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
