I know I haven’t posted anything in a while… ok… a LONG while, but things on my end have been ridiculously crazy. From starting a new job, going on vacation, working on a new degree online to further my career, starting a new active lifestyle and, not to mention, taking over my co-ed softball team, my cooking creativity has somehow been put on the back burner. I won’t lie, by the time I get home, I’m so pooped and my culinary juices just haven’t been flowing.
I know, I know… it’s what we call life! Being a grown up isn’t as easy as we thought it was when we were kids. We all wanted to grow up and have no on to answer to, be able to do what we want, making our own rules – but like I tell the young ones in my life: Cherish these times when your only job is to do well in school, do your homework, and clean your room. You will look back on your life and wish you didn’t fast forward through these times.
Therefore, with that being said, it’s time for Meeesh to get back to cooking. Master Chef Canada is calling for season 2. I’m not sure if I will go for it, but if I do, I will give it my all, and that’s all I can do.
