Chicken Kiev is a Russian dish, a breaded boneless chicken breast pounded and stuffed with herb garlic butter.
I make a lot of stuffed chicken, therefore this one wasn’t so out of the norm for me, although, I have never stuffed my chicken with cold herb butter before. Jamie Oliver’s Chicken Kiev also adds bacon (which is NEVER a bad thing) and also served with a broccoli potato mash which was simple, different but tasty. There is some prep involved but nothing that will prevent me from making this one again. I may have added a pinch too much of cayenne but a little spice never hurt anyone.
