What do you do when you have left over pie crust? Why not do like the French – make some Pets de Soeurs (Nun Farts)! At work, it was the French Committee’s turn to run the monthly staff meeting. Since breakfast is always provided, we decided to bring it French style. I called my mom and we got cooking!
INGREDIENTS
Pie crust dough
Butter, melted
Brown Sugar
Cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
Pre-heat the oven to 375°F
Roll out the dough so it’s about ½ inch thick. Since I didn’t have a rolling pin, a wine bottle works just as well!
Spread some butter on the surface of the dough – make sure you make it all the way to the ends. Sprinkle a thigh enough layer of brown sugar. Then sprinkle some cinnamon over the brown sugar.
Roll the dough, tight enough, all the way to the other side, and cut ½ inch slices.
Arrange the rolls on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes (until the dough is cooked)
And Voila! You now have yourself some Pets de Soeurs!
