Rustic Sausage Pizza
Pizza Dough (Homemade recipe or store bough)
1 cup Pizza sauce (I like to use Classico Fire Roasted Pizza Sauce)
Sausage, cooked (either sliced or removed from casing as ground meat)
Sun-dried tomatoes, drained and coarsely shopped
Red onion, sliced
Smoked provolone cheese
Pre-heat oven at 450°F.
Roll out each piece of dough to about 1/8” thick – into which ever shape you want (round, square, rectangular, unicorn, etc… 🙂
Place the dough on a pan or pizza stone. Brush with oil and top with sauce, cheese, sausage, sun-dried tomatoes, onions and cheese. Bake for 12-15 minutes until pizza is puffed and the crust is crisp and golden on the sides and bottom.
